Our pricing is calculated based on two key pieces of information: how many minutes of video need to be transcoded (prepared for streaming) each month, and how many minutes of video will be streamed to your users.
In a messaging app, for example, each video is likely only watched a handful of times, but every one of them needs to be transcoded. In an app similar to Netflix, however, videos would be watched many times, but each would only have to be transcoded once.
The price estimator below assumes that some videos will be of low quality (standard definition or lower), while others will be high quality (around HD quality). Additionally, it calculates based on storing the videos on our server for 30 days. For cases where the videos don’t meet those assumptions, please contact us for a more accurate estimate.
